Specialising in unconventional, high-quality ensemble-based theatre, Box House aim to break down the traditional approach to theatre creation, in turn, making theatre an inclusive, engaging, and accessible experience for all. 

 

Platform Theatre emphasises the raw power of storytelling through a stripped-down aesthetic which not only pushes the boundaries of traditional theatre, but also makes the theatre art form more accessible by stripping away the reliance on set, props, costumes, and technical effects. 

 

We stand as proof that impressive theatre should not be restricted to budgets, resources and opportunity, and that “boundary pushing theatre” is born from imagination and creativity alone. 

  

There is much to learn through our approach to theatre creation and through our variety of workshops and training programs, Box House introduce aspiring artists to the principles of Platform Theatre, encouraging them to explore creativity without the reliance on budget or resources.
